SCREEDS
At TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring, we supply a wide range of floor screed options, typically made from sharp sand, cement, and water, with the cement-to-sharp sand ratio being somewhere between 1:3 and 1:4. Although floor screeds are used in many different ways in the construction industry, it is essentially a thin layer of a substance that is applied over insulation or a concrete subfloor most frequently. They can be levelling, wearing, bonded, unbonded and floating screed.
